1. introduction

welcome to jitter. by downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. if you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. app services

2.1 features

• log beverages – record coffee, tea, energy drinks, and custom sources.
• realtime metabolism model – see estimated caffeine level in your bloodstream.
• crash‑risk score & forecasts – get predictions of when alertness may drop.
• behavioral nudges – receive intelligent reminders to pace consumption.
• health‑data integration – optionally sync with apple health / google fit.
• personalized insights – access historical trends and daily reports.

2.2 pricing & payments

jitter is offered via in‑app purchase with two subscription plans: monthly and annual. the annual plan includes a 7‑day free trial.

• prices are shown in your local currency and may vary by region.
• trial period: no charge during the trial. cancel anytime before it ends.
• billing: payment is charged to your apple id / google play account.
• auto‑renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off 24 hours before renewal.
• manage / cancel: manage subscriptions in your app store / play store settings.
• refunds: no refunds for unused portions, except where required by law.

2.3 health & safety disclaimer

jitter provides informational estimates only. it is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding caffeine intake or health concerns.

3. user rights & obligations

3.1 age & consent

• you must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• users under 16 may use jitter only with verifiable parental consent.
• you are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

3.2 acceptable use

you agree not to:

• misrepresent your age or identity.
• upload content that is illegal, hateful, or infringing.
• reverse‑engineer, decompile, or modify the app.
• use automated tools without written permission.
• use the app in any way that could harm our infrastructure.

4. limitation of liability

the app is provided "as is" without warranties. jitter labs inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app. our total liability will not exceed usd 100 or the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
